The Missing Finger (Inspirational Story) - very prosperous kingdom, there lived a brave king and his faithful general. One day the king and his general went hunting in the forest. Unfortunately, there was an accident that resulted in the king's broken pinkie finger. So they returned to the palace. After having treatment for several days, the king began to recover physically, but he was so ashamed to appear in public. Then he called his general.
King: General, what do you think about my condition? Now, I have incomplete fingers.
General: No problem, my lord. It's fine. You should be grateful that you still have two hands.
Hearing his general words, the king was angry and jailed the general for insulting him. The he appointed a new general.
The king couldn't leave his hobby. Once fully recovered, he back into the woods with his new general to hunt again. But again, misfortune happened. When the king was chasing a deer, he and his general was lost in the deep forest.
They were caught by a bunch of wild tribes in the forest, and immediately the wild tribes bound them to be sacrificed to the god of the tribe.
The ceremony was prepared. Giant pot was filled with hot water. Both prisoners ready to be slaughtered and cooked.
Suddenly the shaman shouted that the King shouldn't be slaughtered because of his incomplete fingers. The offerings must be perfect, without flaws.
The king was thrown in the forest, and after 3 days he met the search party that had been around for many days.
He returned to his palace. Tired, but relieved. The first person he visited was his general who was in the prison. The general was removed from the jail and the king couldn't help showing his gratitude to the general. The king said that indeed he should be grateful. The general was confused and asked, "What's wrong, Your Majesty?". And the king explained everything that happened in the woods.
Then the general suddenly knelt down before the king. "Your Majesty, I'm also grateful because you imprisoned me. If I was not in the jail, of course I'm already dead now."

When calamity strikes us... we must remain strong, because who knows if God has another plans for us. And we need to know that behind all the problems... there is a blessing
