A Finnish ferry ran aground when the captain is locked in the toilet. One of the crew tried to slow the rate of inter-island passenger vessel delivery, but the ferry, carrying 54 passengers, it hit a reef near the coast of Helsinki, the Finnish coast guard said on Friday (08/19/2011). According to the coastguard, the captain stuck in the toilet because the door lock jammed and he was yelling for help.
A number of passengers bruised and stuff on the table broke in the accident. The Coast Guard is investigating whether the acts classified as crimes that endanger the captain of a life.
"He was locked in the toilet. When members of staff managed to open the door, it was too late," said Jan Sundell, chief investigator.
